Ravin Crossbows is hiring Production Assembler, this position is responsible for assembling all Ravin products. The Production Assembler will be responsible for using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test all Ravin products.


  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

The Technical Support /Customer Service Representative works with outside suppliers and dealers, the Shipping and Purchasing Departments, and office staff through phone calls, meetings, and email to ensure customer orders are entered correctly and filled to their satisfaction.


  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Gathering data and building reports for Managers
  • Conduct post-sale follow ups (call customers and dealers to ensure the welcome letter and contract start date are correct)
  • Call on prospective clients
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Data entry
  • Develop quotations in cooperation with identified sales strategies and information collected from customers or partners, as assigned
  • Conduct ongoing customer-needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first-party resources

The Global Sourcing Agent is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing Ravin’s global suppliers. The Global Sourcing Agent will need to identify new sourcing opportunities, as well as work within the existing supply base, to supply parts and products that meet or exceed Ravin’s cost, quality, delivery, and product development goals. From a strategic standpoint, the Global Sourcing Agent will be responsible for expanding, and where appropriate rationalizing, Ravin’s supply base in anticipation of future product and part needs. Additionally, the Global Sourcing Agent will be responsible for ensure that the appropriate linkages are in place between Ravin’s suppliers and internal groups to accelerate new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Lastly, the Global Sourcing Agent will be responsible working with the suppliers to report and improve global supply chain performance metrics. This position is located in Superior, WI.


  • Negotiates and manage terms, conditions and pricing with vendors that are favorable to Ravin.
  • Regular benchmarking to evaluate cost / capability of incumbent & potential suppliers
  • Work with suppliers on capacity expansion to support growth & improve flexibility
  • Promote collaboration between with a wide variety of cross-functional departments (such as sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing) and suppliers where appropriate
  • Analyzes historical spend as well as forecasts spend and savings
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and identify issues/solutions with excess inventory
  • Support new product introductions (supplier selection, quotes & capacity planning)
  • Utilize supplier innovation
  • Complete, maintain and track supplier agreements with vendors and in turn create contract compliance reports
  • Collect Supplier performance data, and work with suppliers to meet or exceed performance standards
  • Work with suppliers on corrective actions
  • Develops potential new vendors and advances relationships with existing vendors

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent. Must have at least three years global sourcing experience, preferably in the sporting goods industry. The ability to quickly learn the archery industry is essential. Experience working with Asian based suppliers is a plus. Project Management skills. Knowledgeable about import and export issues.
