Position Summary:

The Sales / Customer Support Specialist works with outside dealers and retail locations, the internal Shipping and Purchasing Departments, as well as office staff through phone calls, meetings, and email to drive sales and ensure the highest level of customer care in the outdoor industry.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Gathering data and building reports for Managers
  • Conduct post-sale follow-up interaction
  • Call on prospective clients
  • Data entry
  • Identified sales strategies and information collected from customers or partners, as assigned
  • Conduct ongoing customer-needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first-party resources
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items
  • Perform reporting functions on an ongoing and timely basis
  • Assist in completing sales projects, including proposals and marketing
  • Minimal travel may be required

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
  • HubSpot experience preferred but not required
  • Exceptional communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Excellent organizational skills with accuracy
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail

Production Assembler

Full Time, Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm

Ravin is hiring Production Assemblers to build all Ravin products. This role will involve utilizing a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, task instructions, and test equipment to perform a series of standardized operations required to correctly assemble Ravin’s precision products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

- Attention to detail - Handle sharp cutting tools/objects

- Utilize torque wrench/driver and arbor press

- Communicate clearly

- Utilize basic to intermediate math

- Operate pallet jack to move packaged products and product components

Physical Demands:

  • Production Assembler may be subject to standing long hours with repeated hand/arm motions, bending, lifting (20-30 pounds) and squatting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be adept at fine motor skill manipulation with both hands.
  • Must be able to write, speak and understand English.

Pay: Starting at $14/hour

The Freight Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day truckload and less-than-truckload (TL and LTL) shipment operations in the Shipping department. The Freight Shipping Lead is a working Lead position and is responsible for shipping of Ravin and Centerpoint Archery freight loads and helping where needed to accomplish company goals. The Freight Shipping Lead ensures that shipping clerks are picking and processing orders accurately and efficiently, and monitors shipping supplies.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leads, guides, and trains employees in department
  • Maintains a positive attitude for others to emulate
  • Delegate tasks as needed to maintain efficiency in department
  • Work with Purchasing Dept to order shipping supplies.
  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment
  • Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records
  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates (may include contacting motor carriers to notify them of shipment information)
  • Complete and visually inspect paperwork for all shipments including bills, export papers, manifest, and other documents, ensuring the correct parts are being shipped
  • Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencil identifying shipping information on cartons using stenciling equipment
  • Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
  • Post weights and shipping charges, affix postage
  • Route incoming items to departments or stock locations
  • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • May operate forklift to move shipments from Shipping/Receiving area to storage or work area
  • Perform other stockroom duties, as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent (GED)
  • 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Experience with JD Edwards and ProShip software
  • Excellent communication skills with problem solving abilities
  • Above average computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, internet correspondence, and research
  • Self-motivated and ability to “think on your feet” when working and a “can do” approach to work
  • Attention to detail

  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates (may include contacting motor carriers to notify them of shipment information)
  • Complete and visually inspect paperwork for all shipments including bills, export papers, manifest, and other documents, ensuring the correct parts are being shipped
