The role of Customer Service/Technical Support Representative is to work with external suppliers and dealers, while keeping connected to Ravin office staff through phone calls, meetings, and email/online – to ensure customer orders are entered accurately and filled to their complete satisfaction. You’ll be Ravin’s point of customer contact for following through on sales and tech issues.


Role and Responsibilities:

- Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts
- Gather data and building reports for managers
- Conduct post-sale follow-up
- Call on prospective clients
- Data entry
- Develop quotes in cooperation with identified sales strategies and information collected from customers or partners, as assigned
- Conduct ongoing customer-needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first-party resources
- Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

- Attention to detail - Handle sharp cutting tools/objects

- Utilize torque wrench/driver and arbor press

- Communicate clearly

Velocity Outdoor is a leading outdoor sporting goods company with product lines serving the hunting and shooting enthusiast in Archery, Airguns, Airsoft, Firearms Optics, and Laser Aiming Devices. We are seeking an individual who has proven success in strategic planning, analytic capability, project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Product Manager will be accountable and responsible for developing the strategy and executing the plan to grow the Ravin Archery business. Together with the executive team you will define growth-oriented go-to-market strategies, clearly defining consumer and industry trends, setting a multi-year new product agenda, and partnering with the sales team to maximize sales and distribution opportunities.

You will then lead the execution of the strategy by defining the product mix and mapping out the new product pipeline while overseeing maintenance of business on existing products including margin enhancement/cost savings initiatives.

This position requires a blend of big picture thinking and detail orientation. You must be able to communicate and collaborate with key areas of the company, including Quality and Design Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and the Marketing Communications team. You will also work with domestic and overseas suppliers in support of purchasing and engineering to help bring products to market.

This position will be based in Superior, WI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborating with your team to define market trends, competitive set, and new product opportunities for Ravin.
  • Work with sales and operations team to manage and enhance existing product line life cycles including product enhancements and/or cost savings opportunities.
  • Specifying performance and financial requirements for current and future products.
  • Work in conjunction with sourcing and purchasing teams to identify key new products and product improvements with domestic and overseas vendors.
  • Coordinate engineering team efforts in new product development and testing.
  • Accountable for accurate documentation of the PDC process, EAR and BOM development.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency, facilitates problem solving and planning to anticipate and overcome risks/obstacles.
  • Facilitates communication to key stakeholders on project performance.
  • Procedural training and communication for new and revised products and components.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Project Management discipline
  • 5+ years of work experience directly in project/product management experience with proven success in growing businesses
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; can-do, problem solving attitude
  • 10-15% travel; must have a passport and be able to obtain a Chinese visa
  • Strong interest in/affinity with outdoor categories, especially archery
  • Experience managing direct reports

The Freight Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day truckload and less-than-truckload (TL and LTL) shipment operations in the Shipping department. The Freight Shipping Lead is a working Lead position and is responsible for shipping of Ravin and Centerpoint Archery freight loads and helping where needed to accomplish company goals. The Freight Shipping Lead ensures that shipping clerks are picking and processing orders accurately and efficiently, and monitors shipping supplies.

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for aiding in the process of recording incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers of inventory. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for assisting in analyzing and reporting discrepancies in the inventory records. This position is also responsible for conducting regularly scheduled inventory counts that may occur outside of regular business hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures inventory data accuracy, identifies, and documents any discrepancies related to auditing loads.
  • Moves materials throughout the plant and warehouse.
  • Assists in investigating items status locations, analyzes the exceptions, and updates inventory.
  • Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Assists in the coordination and reconciliation of inventory or location discrepancies associated with the cycle count process, as well as performing data entry.
  • Assists in maintaining and adjusting an accurate Bill of Materials.
  • Maintains historical records of all inventory transactions, including transfers, builds, adjustments, cycle counts, audits performed, shortages, discrepancies, and resolutions.
  • Coordinates the movement of materials and parts between outside vendors and internal locations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system and/or QuickBooks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate fork truck, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Extensive data entry with troubleshooting

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Front desk receptionist work description also entails enforcing basic security procedures in the organization by monitoring logbook, notifying the appropriate personnel of guests and emergency situations; and also assisting in process and procedures. They must possess phone handling skills, ability to work under pressure, and technical skills, as well as excellent customer service skills to be successful on the job.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for receiving visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

· Answers and transfers calls to appropriate units in a polite, & professional manner

· Takes messages and communicates them appropriately

· Maintains employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors

· Offers beverage to guests where necessary
