Production Assembler
Full Time Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm

Do you like to work with your hands and build products in a climate-controlled work environment? Ravin is hiring Production Assemblers, this position would be responsible for assembling all Ravin products. The Production Assembler will be responsible for using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test all Ravin products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Attention to detail
• Handle sharp cutting tools/objects
• Utilize torque wrench/driver and arbor press
• Communicate clearly
• Utilize basic to intermediate math
• Operate pallet jack to move packaged products and product components

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Production Assembler may be subject to standing long hours with repeated hand/arm motions, bending, lifting (20-30 pounds) and squatting in a manufacturing environment. They must be adept at fine motor skill manipulation with both hands. In addition, they must write, speak and understand English. Pay: $12.00/hr to $16.00/hr (depending on experience)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Gathering data and building reports for managers
  • Conduct post-sale follow-up
  • Call on prospective clients
  • Data entry
  • Develop quotations in cooperation with identified sales strategies and information collected from customers or partners, as assigned
  • Conduct ongoing customer-needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first-party resources
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items
  • Perform reporting functions on an ongoing and timely basis
  • Assist in completing sales projects, including proposals and marketing
  • Minimal travel may be required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills and phone etiquette

Shipping Coordinator

General Summary: Coordinates the shipment and documentation of outbound product. Ensures that product ships on time, without damages, and within established cost/ budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning open orders to meet customer, domestic and international, demands and MABD(must arrive by dates)
  • Printing UCC-128 labels for customer compliance
  • Requesting routing via customer’s WMS and portals
  • Prepares bill of lading and other shipping documentation as required.
  • Contacts carriers for pick up scheduling and shipping information.
  • Investigates Shortages, overages, and demands.
  • Provides rate quotes.

Requirements:

High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing/shipping environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong clerical skills, good mathematical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently. Must be a team player.

Tools & Equipment:

PC, printer and associated software, bill of lading printer, reference materials, telephone, fax machine, copier and other office equipment. Departmental forms and reports, Bill of Ladings, Factory Shippers, various office supplies.

Direction

Works under limited supervision with a moderately high degree of independence to select appropriate techniques to Responsibility accomplish assigned objectives with a periodic review of progress. Must be willing to attend internal and external training courses as outlined by the Company.

2nd Shift 1:20pm – 11:50pm

The Machine Operator is responsible for machining parts by operating a Haas CNC Mill while maintaining quality and safety standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load and unload parts
  • Select the correct program for roughing and finishing parts
  • Inspects and measures machined parts to ensure that they are within part print specification
  •  Make offsets as necessar
  •  Maintains clean, organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulation
  •  Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirement
  •  Keep a positive attitude and good work ethic for other employees to emulat
  •  Documents actions by completing daily report
  •  Any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by the Manager or Lead
