CNC OPERATOR (2nd or 3rd shift only)

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Produce machined parts by operating a Haas computer numerical control (CNC) machine, or lathe while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and supplies.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Maintains clean, organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs

PURCHASING MANAGER/BUYER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Purchasing Manager/Buyer is responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, services, and sourcing and managing vendors. The successful candidate will perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of manufacturing to find more profitable and reliable suppliers. This position does not require managing others.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate shipment, purchase, and inventory reports, as well as inventory turns and forecast accuracy metrics for weekly and monthly business monitoring
Evaluate and adjust inventory-stocking levels based on past order history and performance levels to optimize costs and service
​Analyze inventory levels to identify and make recommendations regarding excess or obsolete inventory
Ensure that critical forecasting and inventory planning inputs and parameters are updated in planning system (customer forecast, new product introductions, lead times, stocking status, etc.)
Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions and process changes
Develop analytical tools and reports to manage supply chain performance
Source 3 tiers of suppliers for all products

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN (2nd shift)

Join our growing team! RAVIN CROSSBOWS is hiring a 2nd shift Quality Assurance Technician. This is an hourly position. 

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for reviewing and inspecting products to ensure they meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Record QA test data and observations 
Organize and summarize test results and prepare related reports including statistical studies to assess conformance to requirements
Convey raw material and product quality issues to management 
Perform actions to resolve issues and implement corrective measures 
Maintain working knowledge of all instruments used for routine and non-routine sample testing and troubleshooting 
Monitor measuring equipment performance 
Assist other departments to ensure work is commensurate to standards, acceptance criteria and general quality policies 
Ensure product evaluation complies with fit performance, grading, workmanship & technical viability 
Resolve problems in conjunction with plant managers, production and engineering personnel

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Two year degree in shipping/logistics and/or advanced knowledge of production processing and organization in relation to shipping and receiving, a plus 
Above average computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, internet correspondence and research 
Excellent analytical skills and able to understand the step-by-step process required to manufacture a product 
Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities 
Ability to read technical drawings 

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for shipping and receiving, ensuring that only the intended goods get delivered into and shipped out of the warehouse in a cost effective manner.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates, which may include contacting motor carriers notifying them of shipment information
Completes and visually inspects paperwork for all shipments including bills, export papers, manifest and other documents, ensuring the correct parts are being shipped.
Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment.
Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
Routes items to departments / stock locations
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
May operate forklift to move shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area. May need to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Perform other stockroom duties, as needed

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works with outside supplier, dealers, shipping, office and purchasing, through phone calls, meetings, email to ensure the customers’ orders are entered correctly and filled to their satisfaction. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering and reports for Managers
Conduct Post Sale Follow Up (call customer to ensure welcome letter and contract start date are correct) in coordination with service delivery engineer as appropriate
Call on prospective clients
Answer incoming phone callsData entry
Develop quotations in cooperation with identified sales strategy and information collected from customer or partners as assigned
Conduct ongoing customer needs, analysis, research of customer requirements through first party resources

INVENTORY CLERK

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for aiding in the process of recording incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers of inventory. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for assisting in analyzing and reporting discrepancies in the inventory records. This position is also responsible for conducting regularly scheduled inventory counts that may occur outside of regular business hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures inventory data accuracy, identifies and documents any discrepancies related to auditing loads 
Assists in investigating items status locations, analyzes the exceptions, and updates inventory
Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts
Assists in the coordination and reconciliation of inventory or location discrepancies associated with the cycle count process, as well as performing data entry
Assists in maintaining and adjusting an accurate Bill of Materials
Maintains historical records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, builds, and adjustments
Coordinates the movement of materials and parts between outside vendors and internal locations
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records
Performs other duties as assigned
